A timeless classic

It’s a classic print. When the good weather arrives it becomes fashionable, that’s true, but what this year happens with gingham is already a revolution. A truly #trendingfabric that turns you, never better said, “checkered”. The black gingham (or vichy squares) has arrived to impose its reign once and for all. It doesn’t want to remain as a traditional basic anymore, it’s a must in the closet now. In this way it manages to become the king of this season.

Its textile nature is cotton and has been used for celebrities in lots of events. They have made it fashionable several times. But never as strong as this season. Brigitte Bardot wore this print to get married. Even Audrey Hepburn has opted in more than one occasion. Designers like Yves Saint Laurent have used it in their collections. Don’t forget the mythical dress of Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz.

Even so, the color that runs the world of these squares today is black, just stroll through any mall to discover more of a garment with this feature.
